well, usually there is a 10uf or so cap in the STK chopper circuit that
failes. and runs the osc out of freq. Also, it wouldnt be bad to replace the
STK regulator, and check all the caps on the secondary side of the chopper
transformer.

plus also, check the rectifier diode on the secondary of the transformer.
That can short too, if so your HOT is out again, and the osc stage in the
chopper supply is running too high. replace that 10uf in the chopper, and
check/replace the caps in the secondary of the chopper transformer
