[TV] Re: Sony KV27T36
Hello: If its the chassis that I am thinking of, if your looking into the
back of the set, to the left is a large heat sink with two transisters Q601
and Q602 they are probably both shorted. The horizontal output transister
is on a heat sink to the far right, next to the flyback transformer. It is
probably shorted also.
This is not a repair for even a novice tv repairman. There is some type of
a design problem in this set because the horizontal output runs hot and
burns up. There were several interesting post about this model several
months ago. I think you can do a search and find them. Please be carefull
televisions are dangerous. Your knowledge of electrical engineering
probably won't help to much with the insides of that tv.
Have fun
Dave
