Hi Guys: Have asked for help on this one before and feel sheepish to ask again. Its on a Sony KV35S65 Chassis # SCC-S07M-A.
The set will cut the high voltage off and leave the sound on after a minute or less. Thereby losing any other voltages derived from the flyback. No fuses blow but sound and station selector work changing channels is OK too. 

I have checked the voltage feeding the I.C. 351 which generates the horizontal drive, thinking it might be being cut off, but Pin #34 keeps the 9V. on it. I then replaced the IC351 chip and no change. When this happens you have to kill the AC input to the set so that it can re-set. Then you can go thru the whole thing all over again. I have tried changing the setting on the screen control and it works OK for a minute or two. The whole problem is that I dont have any clues as to whether it is the HOT or the Driver transistor or the Flyback or some condition that cuts the drive off. 

If anyone would be kind enough and has access to WinsTips I would certainly appreciate some help. I have had this set for months and the customer has another set and a lot of patience. 

It might be an IK problem(but I dont think so) and it might be in the Automatic Brightness Level circuit but I cant find anything wrong mostly because when the flyback quits there is nothing to check in these areas and there isnt enough time that it works to find the problem. The Regulator Keeps a constant 135V. Regulator was replaced. I replaced the driver transistor but havent replaced the HOT.
