[TV] Emerson EWC1303 - feasibility of MCU upgrade?

Greetings all,

My three children all have these units. They have plenty of parent-friendly features but lack two important ones:
1) hours-allowed-per-day, keyed to day-of-week
2) bedtime, keyed to day-of-week

I'm contemplating burning new MCUs (for both TV and remote) to accomdate these new features. 

Does anyone have a mfg part number for the MCUs in the TV and remote? And in the case of the TV, is this IC socketed?
