List the TV name brand to go with the model # and you will probable get some help. Also if you have no Vertical Deflection the problem is not going to be the Hor-output transistor, which is what a D2499 is. I would check for bad parts like caps & more in the power supply or the sweep derived power supplies from flyback or the vertical IC itself. Good Luck
