What should the value of R374 on the CRT board be measuring? I think
this resistor might be open. It looks pretty toasty anyway.

Hi, 
I have a vertical defection problem. 
When you turn on the TV, you get only raster, the picture then shakes
and it 
goes to a horizontal line. I replaced most of the caps in the vertical
section and the vertical output IC. I also resoldered bad connections.
The 
weird thing is once and a while, the full picture will appear, then go
away. 
However, banging and tapping does not seem to affect the picture. 
Any help will be appreciated.
