Steve I have a Panasonic fax that I had the same trouble. Cleaning the
rubber rollers fixed the problem.

Would anyone happen to have a manual on this fax machine? I have
mechanical problems with the gear drive..... won't pull the paper that
your are faxing through the machine. Have had gear pack out, and I've
inspected the thing but see nothing wrong. Any tips would be greatly
appreciated!
