John, is the IC a 11 pin sip? If so maybe its a TDA7146. I had a RCA that used 
tha IC if so pin 9 is the B+ which should be 28 V. Also I found a regulator 
xstr that was faulty that supplied the pre-amps. Don't recall the Q # but a 
chech of a few xstrs b-e bias may get you a clue. Terry J.
