I've changed about 50 laser assys on these under warranty for loading and no
read. Clean the laser first and if that doesn't help it's pretty much junk
as they are $140 each from Funai

Will not recognize disc. Spins and appears to scan but does not "load".
VCR Plays perfectly. There is a control module mounted on top of the disc
player where I suspect the problem to be. My question is has anyone a
history of this model and would Emerson release any info to me. TIA Dave S
