[TV] Re: RCA CTC203AJ9-Model# J25420 need owners manual
Before you go and swap eeproms....make sure you disable the TV guide
unit.
If that is in a cycle trying to download program information, you will
not be able to change cable-ant
The option to autoprogram will disappear ffrom the menu options!
To disable that, you have to follow the directions on how to reset the
TVGuide feature in the service menu
It is real easy...letts see it is press tv button, then thr go to button
twice and the tv button again...it will go through a diagnostic program,
and then the unit will be set up as if it were a new set...you will have
to re-set the TVguide zipcode, and your autoprogram option will come
back.
