[TV] Re: Zenith 25A24T/Chassis 9-2066-04

Hi, Normally relay need 12V supply, If don't have schematic, please look at the relay itself there is four pins, two for the connection of raw B+ so that the raw B+ will supply to rectifier or regulator IC. the other two pin is for control of this relay. one of it connected to 12V and other connected to switch on/off transistor. You need to find out the control transistor to see is it shorted or the 12 V present or not. This is the general tracing of circuit technique. At the time no any schematics need to do so.

Thank you

Subject: [TV] Zenith 25A24T/Chassis 9-2066-04

I have a Zenith with the 9-2066-04 chassis that came in. I can here it pop through the speakers when turned on and off with both the power switch and remote, but it doesn't attempt to power up. I cannot find any thing wrong in the power supply. I have a 140 VDC at the flyback and 18 Volt on the board and 5 Volt at the controls but nothing at the relay. Does any one have an idea?
