[TV] Re: sony KDF-50E2000 translucent reddish bar across the top
Try unplugging the LVDS cable (yes the bigger cable going to light engine) and clean the contacts with alcool.
I save a few light engines that way , a bad contact (this is a dusty environment) and you have bizarre picture troubles. Hope this help you.
