Thank your reply. The table top antenna is good for DTV reception. Only $1.00 or little bit more can buy one that is working on Digital converter box. If use big antenna on top of the house it would be high money to install it. All this is not acceptable by customer. My customer live in Alameda gave me the antenna to connect to the converter box is small bit dear than $1.00 antenna. It appear very high class when you hold it in hand. That day I did not carefully look at the name brand.
Next, out door antenna are many element assemble together so that it is sharp direction reception character. The same antenna used to receive analog signal at the same location will have ghost or snow but digital signal will not. It it is sharp direction character than the program being received will be much less. It is completely different from older concept. Use $1.00 antenna is sufficient to look at about 50 channels at very good picture, sometime it is not stable and the picture freeze and break into segment. ( un-continuous stream of pictures. ) Only 50% of channel is good and stable. If good antenna will over come this. I tried antenna amplifier but not very good effect. The Alameda Island customer whose TV is at every channel perfect. I don't know it is the effect of the location or the antenna.

Thank you

Ming, To me the area a person lives as for as the reception has more to do
to me more so than the brand of antenna. I Always used Channel Master
products here. Not many people use antennas anymore here though.Troy
