[TV] Re: RCA PTK169PEC horiz tearing
Not the video, scoped the vertical deflection
yoke. Noise spike seen on upper part of sawtooth
waveform. Where this is coming from don't know,
any suggestions? Coupling cap C4503 is OK

Video on pins 40,38 & 35 of U1001 look ok,
but checked Video in on crt pcb and you can see
the distortion. It's either on the Blk stretch
pcb or the PIP module? Is it possible to bypass
the PIP?

If you have a scope check to see if and where it enters the video, it may be
a bad cap. Is there any noise on / in the audio via the speakers?
