[TV] Re: philips 55pp9401 blue horizontal linearity problem

I would double check those resistors with the convergence yokes unplugged.  If none of them are bad you probably have a bad DCU.

I have the template and i have tried to realighn. It is a pain to do if
you never done this one. I checked all the low ohm resistors all ready 3
times. I have the board out no less than 5 times. This set was in 2
other shops before me for this problem.
> You likely have a low ohm resistor located near the STK's that is open.  More than one of them may be bad.  You have to disconnect the convergence yokes before you measure them or you will get a false reading.  Since you have cleared the DCU you will have to do a complete reconvergence and you will need a template to do this properly.  The convergence can be done without a template but it is very difficult to get the convergence adjusted so that the auto convergence will work.  Also without a template you will likely increase your adjustment time from 3-4 hours to 2 or 3 times that long.
