[TV] Re: RCA PTK169PEC horiz tearing
Thanks for the PIP bypass, will save for further
reference. After more probing with a scope found
the problemo is not video distortion, found
intermittent "noise" on the upper part of the Vert
sawtooth wave-form causing the distortion in the
pix, delusion being horiz tearing or wobbling
of a small portion of the pix.
Open to any suggestions for a good approach to solve
this problemo.

JAck you can try and bypass the PIP. Found this
Note from an old E-mail.
Remove the pip from the seat. Then on the plug
that went to J8003 Short pins 3 & 6.
If video is still blank check for video on pin 13 of the pip Adapter board, If so, you have to run a jumper from pin 13 to pin 1 of the pip
adapter board. You can run this jumper from
underneath the chassis where the board is soldered in to the main chassis.
