[TV] Re: P/A Akai LCD LCT3201AD need value of fuse FU101

HI, We are not engineer, I have the way to fine out any fuse whose value exactly.
1./ Check all the loading to make sure no any other problem component.
2./ Connect a hair wire that taken from a multi-core wire, take off it's skin ( sleeve ). Use it as jumper for this fuse. One hair wire skin from multi-core wire would have at least can give you about 10 A.
3./ if there is every component all OK, then any fuse will work for you, not only the original current fuse. If it only work fine, you can find out what happen to it. After correct it then put in original fuse. Before very is clear, You put in good fuse, you are likely burning your money and putting your gold in fill up the sea.
4./ After the TV work OK, put one current meter in series connection with the fuse, to find out the working current. Use 1.5 to times this value, and then put in this rating of current for this fuse.

In Hong Kong I was a TV guy over 40 years. I don't need to weary about any fuse, I put in hair wire to it and never use money to buy fuse, but in USA customer law require to install better fuse, as all house are made of wood.
Talking about fuse over the air online to discussion it, I think you don't have physical experience of electronics and ohm's law.
Thank you I am an honest TV guy. Excuse me talking too much.

Thank you
