Field CCTV Monitor for camera adjustments
« on: July 15, 2009, 08:30:19 PM »

Am trying to find a high brightness/high contrast video monitor for installing security cameras.  I have bought every monitor I could find advertised over the years and have yet to find one that will work in daylight without making a tent over it.  I have tried CRT monitors and LCD monitors.  I recently saw a new
JVC Camcorder whose LCD display was perfect in broad daylight.  I would like to find a LCD video monitor with likewise quality.  I have also had the same problems with laptop computers with remote RF receiver software while trying to adjust receivers on poles from my bucket van.  I can't see anything on the display till it is covered with a makeshift tent.  If there is a good monitor out there I would be glad to buy it regardless of price.  Most of my camera work is outdoors.  If anyone out there has seen good video on a monitor I would be grateful to get the Make and Model.  It does have to be portable as most of my installations are done on a ladder or out of a bucket truck.  Any suggestions will be appreciated.
